The Spell Checker for Edit Boxes has been written by and is copyright ⌐ 1994
by Brian Quinion. All rights reserved.
Whilst every care has been taken in the compilation of this application, it
is provided 'as is' and neither the author nor the publishers shall be held
responsible for any error, omission or consequential loss.
Spell Checker for Edit Boxes is Freeware.
System requirements
-------------------
Spell Checker for Edit Boxes requires Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher.
Installation
------------
This program comprises of two parts:
1) The program files (available separtely).
2) A dictionary file (.SCD) which provides the words for a particular
language. You must install at least one dictionary file for the program
to work.
At the moment English (UK), English (US) and German are available, although
the german dictionary is still on beta test at present (11/10/94). A
French dictionary is being concidered.
This zip file will only have contained one of the available dirctionaries.
If you require one of the other languages contact your supplier, or if you
have internet access you can ftp them from:
ftp.demon.co.uk /pub/ibmpc/windows/spell
This dictionary should be copied to the same sub directory on your hard drive
to which you copied the program files. See the readme.1st file suplied with
the program files for a full explanation of setting up and installing the
program.
Usage
-----
If this is the only language file available in the spell checker directory
then it will be auto selected. If however you have more then one language file
you will need to access the Spell Checker options box (by running setup, or by
pressing 'Options' during a spelling check) and select the language that you
wish to use. For information on using the options box see the help file.
